The Hamilton Road Area Community Association is a voluntary group aiming to provide a long-term voice for everyone who lives or works in the Hamilton Road area of Longsight in Manchester.
HRACA is currently going through a quiet period while we recover following a number of difficulties
HRACA is a group of ordinary community members who got together to improve the area. The Hamilton Road Area is bounded by Dickenson Road, Stockport Road, the railway line and Beresford Road ( see map).
The association sets up action groups made of volunteers from the resident community, traders and workers within the locality. We also aim to support other community members and groups based in the area with projects or campaigns which improve the area.
We raise funds via application to trust funds and local government initiatives to undertake projects of interest. We also link in with other groups, and council initiatives
